A weather lookup without an account.
The pilot does not ask for your name, precise location, login or payment information. Your station choice is a selection from six public weather stations.
What your browser remembers.
Your explicit color-theme and unit preferences are stored on your device using the browser’s local storage, under yestersky-theme and yestersky-units. These preferences are not sent to a profile service. You can clear them using your browser’s site-data settings.
YesterSky does not request device geolocation and does not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies or third-party tracking scripts. No account, contact form, runtime AI service or advertising system is enabled.
Requests and hosting.
Cloudflare hosts and delivers YesterSky. A request necessarily includes information used to deliver and secure the service, such as the requested URL, IP address, browser details and timing. Cloudflare may process that information under its own service and security practices. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
The application reads the station and date in your lookup. Routine persistent application request logging is disabled. Free aggregate hosting measures may be used to understand service usage and failures; this pilot has no analytics-account integration or cross-site visitor tracking.
Weather observations come from NOAA’s Aviation Weather Center through scheduled service requests. Viewing a retained result does not cause your browser to contact NOAA. Following an external source link takes you to that provider’s site.
Shared links and voluntary messages.
A result link contains the selected station ID and local date, not your home address or device location. Anyone with the link can request the same public station/date result while it remains in the supported recent window. The record may later be corrected or expire.
If you email feedback, the project receives the message and the sender information you choose to provide. Avoid sending private addresses or sensitive documents when a station/date link is enough. Email opens in your own mail application; the website does not send a message for you.
Changes and contact.
Ads remain disabled. If advertising or additional measurement is proposed, the privacy notice and any required consent handling must be updated before those services are activated.
